An approved project permit application is required prior to project activity; including tree removal, clearing, grading, and road building; construction; remodeling or repair affecting exterior appearance; and installation of golf ball netting, docks, floats, fencing, dog runs, or other exterior changes to the property.

The genesis of LakeLand Village covenants is found in the philosophy that the community was intended to be maintained in a natural condition, as close to its original vegetative state as possible, but controlled to present a neat, pleasing effect. The framers of our covenants intended that LakeLand lots be cleared only to the extent necessary to accommodate residential dwellings, garages, storage sheds, and leaving the remainder of the lot, insofar as possible, close to a natural state. They envisioned residences nestled amid a natural setting of trees and native flora. Foremost was the desire that a maximum number of beautiful, healthy evergreen trees be retained wherever possible.
